BetMGM's current app listing names Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming, plus Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. Customers generally need not reside in the jurisdiction, but they must be physically present there when placing a wager. Mississippi access is tied to BetMGM's Beau Rivage location in Biloxi, rather than ordinary statewide mobile wagering. Nevada requires a visit to an MGM sportsbook to activate an account and uses an account system separate from BetMGM's consolidated multi-state platform. New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington have BetMGM retail locations but no verified statewide BetMGM mobile sportsbook.

BetMGM supports standard markets such as spreads, moneylines, and totals alongside live bets, parlays, same-game parlays, teasers, round robins, futures, game props, player props, and alternate lines. Cash Out may provide an early settlement option on eligible wagers, but it should not be described as guaranteed. The operator can add, remove, or suspend the option, and state rules can narrow the available sports and markets. The app also links qualifying wagering to BetMGM Rewards, subject to the rewards program's earning and redemption rules.

A BetMGM article dated July 29, 2026 advertises either up to $1,500 in Bonus Bets if a new customer's first wager loses or $150 in Bonus Bets if a first $10 wager wins, depending on location. The principal landing page places the first structure in 18 listed jurisdictions and the second in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. It also displays the code BETMGMBONUS, a $10 minimum deposit, nonwithdrawable Bonus Bets, and a seven-day Bonus Bet expiration.

The detailed terms embedded on the same landing page are stale. The up-to-$1,500 terms state a promotional period ending December 31, 2024, and the $150 terms state a period ending April 8, 2025. Elsewhere, the current site footer excludes D.C. and Mississippi from the first-bet promotion even though the welcome page includes both in its eligible-state list. Nevada separately advertises a different July 2026 offer after in-person activation. Because the operative 2026 dates and jurisdiction rules are not presented consistently, the headline promotion should be reported as a dated marketing claim rather than a verified contractual offer.

BetMGM has a broad feature set, a substantial regulated-market footprint, and clearly identifiable account controls. Its main drawbacks in this review are fragmented state rules, incomplete public payment details, special access procedures in Mississippi and Nevada, and unreliable public presentation of signup-offer terms. Choice Ledger did not test the app, payments, wagering flow, or support, so no conclusion should be drawn about real-world performance or odds quality.
